 Suzanne Strange

By the twenty-second century, human heedlessness and natural disasters have led to a world where the air is unsafe to breathe, the soil will grow nothing but kudzu, and wars will never end. Crowded together in domed communities, growing food in greenhouses, and living under martial law, people go about their lives, working at their jobs and caring for their families while striving to make the world a better place for their children. Hundreds of young volunteers come together for a dome-raising project in South Carolina. It’s love at first sight for seventeen-year-old Michael Travis when he sees a graceful weaver floating lightly in her antigravity belt above the giant dome. When he learns that she was born on the far side of the Moon, he is determined to meet her and share his dreams of living on Mars. More than a tale of survival, Weavers of the Crystal Domes is a salute to the resilience and ingenuity of our species, a coming-of-age story set in the world of the future.

Linda Kelly (Mice on Main)

Mice On Main tells the story of nine pet mice who find their perfect places on Main Street in Greenville, South Carolina.

Jimmy Ryan's white mice are not happy in their cage. They have everything they need, but they want more: "Freedom," "Adventure," "Sparkle."

Using a blend of words and illustrations, writer Linda Kelly and illustrator Zan Wells bring to life mice who have unique personalities and their own individual styles.

*Please note that Zan Wells will not be coming.

Mann Batson (The Swamp Rabbit Railroad Legacy and Legend)

A journey on the Swamp Rabbit Railroad from Greenville to Travelers Rest and point beyond...if there was an ideal or quintessential American journey this would be it. Born in the afterglow of the great American epic that was the War Between the States this little railroad that almost was, is the very essence of the two very different places that the South was before 1865 and after 1876. The wishes of a united nation with common goals, forged in the utopian hope of an emerging industrial giant, would find meaning and expression in what would be an impossible dream to unite Greenville and Knoxville by rail.

Trudie Nash

Inspired by the emotional turmoil of relationships with both the mortal and immortal, this collection by Trudie Nash is a '"slightly sensual" look at interactions between men and women based loosely on the Songs of Solomon. By evoking a personal struggle with a God who sometimes seems distant and uncaring, she draws comparisons to the feelings aroused by a seemingly disinterested man. Many of the poems begin in the natural, and then revelation brings understanding and "'mortal takes on immortal."

A skillful combination of her strong faith with her love for writing, her words convey emotions of rejection and loneliness, but also those of absolute fulfillment and love. Interspersed with her tone of longing are verses of praise and an overall reflection of her faith, both in God and in love.
